The boot's integrated, moulded nitrile rubber scuff cap provides a powerful shield against abrasion, protecting the toe area and significantly extending the boot's lifespan. A waterproof yet highly breathable construction ensures your feet stay dry and comfortable by preventing water from entering while allowing heat and moisture vapour to escape through a system of microscopic breathe holes. The RF880 Exploration is equipped with a lightweight fibreglass toecap, offering robust protection against impacts up to 200 joules, and an exclusive penetration resistant protective insert from Activ-Step® Footwear Components. This impenetrable layer of defence against sharp objects is achieved without sacrificing the boot's crucial flexibility. Finally, the boot is equipped with an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) specification, a critical safety feature that safely dissipates static electricity.
