The Site Supply Group aims to provide defect-free products and services to its customers on time and within budget.
Quality management
We operate a Quality Management System certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2015. It supports our distribution of site supplies across a range of sectors and helps us meet customers’ requirements, maintain our reputation for service and improve customer satisfaction.
Management is committed to developing and improving the Quality Management System, continually improving its effectiveness and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Our commitments
- Determine and fulfil customer needs and expectations.
- Communicate the importance of meeting customer needs and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements throughout the organisation.
- Establish quality objectives at relevant functions, levels and processes.
- Review quality objectives and internal audit results through management reviews to monitor the effectiveness of our processes and Quality Management System.
- Ensure that the necessary resources are available.
Product safety and compliance
We undertake to supply only safety equipment and related services that comply with the applicable standards, regulations and claims made for those products and services. Where appropriate, we maintain up-to-date technical files and associated documentation so that regulatory compliance information can be supplied on request.
Where external suppliers hold the technical files, we request confirmation that these are current and complete, contain appropriate conformity assessment information and, where relevant, regulatory compliance certificates. We take the necessary steps to confirm the validity of the compliance documentation held by those suppliers.
Where we provide services relating to safety equipment sourced from external organisations, we maintain the manufacturer’s approval that those services have been assessed and approved.
Responsibilities and review
The structure of our Quality Management System is defined in our Quality Manual. All personnel are required to understand this policy and follow the manual. We monitor quality performance, comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and implement improvements where appropriate.
This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure its continuing suitability. Copies are made available to staff and relevant interested parties. Management review minutes, or relevant extracts, are shared with staff according to their roles and responsibilities.
