Visible clothing can make a group easier to identify on an outing. It should support the organiser’s supervision and route planning, rather than be treated as a guarantee of safety.

Start with fit

Use the product’s measurements and intended size range rather than age labels alone. Check the garment over the clothing children will wear, including coats, and make sure it is not excessively loose.

Read the product information

Different colours and designs can have different specifications. Do not assume that a bright waistcoat, reflective detail or a familiar product name establishes a particular protective standard.

Keep identification simple

If adding a school or club logo, agree the position and suitable decoration method. Consider privacy before putting individual children’s names on outward-facing clothing.

Plan issue and care

Count the garments before an activity, check their condition and follow the wash instructions. Keep enough suitable sizes for the group. Consult the current product page or contact the team for available options and prices.
